You might say it’s been a long time coming – it sometimes feels like that for us – but today we can proudly say that Wise Marketing is open for business.
It has been almost 15 years since I first met Paul, when we were working at a small agency in central London at the height of the dotcom boom. It didn’t take long before we realised we took a similar approach to problem solving, creativity, and in fact to many aspects of life. Over the years, working in various places we’ve always kept in touch.
The idea for a wiser marketing company didn’t come over night. It arose out of the combination of frustration with the same old mistakes we could see being made over and over again, and the growing realisation that we had something unique to offer. As it is often said that a financial downturn makes the ideal time to start a new business, it also seemed the time was right, the time to get wise.
It was announced last year that the content marketing industry had grown to a $44 billion industry (in the US at least). This trend is set to grow and we’re proud to be part of it.
We aim to be at the forefront of the digital marketing and content creation industries. Of course we won’t be the largest company in the field by any means, at least not at first.
